WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 285 pounder Justin Deveau of Rhode Island College earns the honor this week after posting a huge 8-3 victory over nationally second ranked Mike Blair of Trinity College to give the Anchormen a 17-16 win over the Bantams. The Hawks took fourth in the New England Duals.
ROOKIE WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 285 pounder Jake Stoddard of the U. of Southern Maine earns the honor this week. He finished with a 2-2 record at the New England Duals, helping the Huskies to pick up their second victory of the season.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 165 pounder Tim Ruberg of Johnson & Wales University earns the honor this week after he led the Wildcats to a 29-13 victory over nationally 18th ranked Oneonta State University. Ruberg knocked off nationally 8th ranked Otis Place in the dual meet.
ROOKIE WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 141 pounder Mike Bonora of Rhode Island College earns the honor this week. He pinned returning New England placefinisher Shaun Cleary from Plymouth State to give the Anchormen a decisive 22-0 lead which propelled them to a 34-15 victory.

WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 125 pounder Jon Egan (West Kingston, RI) of Roger Williams University earns the first honor this season after two solid performances so far this year. He captured first place honors in the RWU Invitational Tournament and finished second to nationally third ranked Tom Prairie of Williams College in the Doug Parker Invite at Springfield College.
ROOKIE WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: 141 pounder Mike Bonora (Nutley, NJ) of Rhode Island College earns the first rookie honor. He finished second in the RWU Invitational tournament, posting a 4-1 record on the day. In his second collegiate match, he upset the top seed and 2001 All-American Mark Foresi of Trinity College. He lost in overtime in the finals to the #8 ranked wrestler in the nation.
