Kamiah High School, ID
150-11
3x State Champion

I have wrestled for as long as I can remember.  Actually, I started wrestling when I was in preschool in our local Kamiah Kids program.  I joined the Kamiah Wrestling Club when I was 8 years old and have competed in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman since. Thanks to my close friends from Bonners Ferry, Id, I started competing in Freestyle and Greco-Roman on a national level when I was a schoolboy.

The last 6 years of wrestling have been exciting.  I have been fortunate enough to train @ the J. Robinson Intensive Camp, the OTC, the Bronco Wrestling Club and the Team Idaho Freestyle/Greco Roman camp.  The technique and inspiration I have received from these experiences have enabled me to earn All American honors six times at the Cadet/Junior Freestyle and Greco Roman National Tournament in Fargo, ND. Of course the highlight of the past six years was claiming the National Freestyle Championship @ 189 lbs from a field of extremely talented and tenacious competitors.

Highlights from folkstyle include two Idaho State titles and many other tournament titles.

I plan on attending Oklahoma State University this fall and studying Business Management.  My wrestling goals as a Cowboy include being a multi national champion and help strengthen OSU’s winning tradition.   After college I hope to compete @ the Olympic level as a member of the Gator Club.

The last few years I have coached the younger kids in our club and officiated in our regional folkstyle league and in Freestyle and Greco Roman tournaments.  This experience has helped me to begin to appreciate the outstanding organization that wrestling has. I am very thankful to the Kamiah Wrestling Club, North Central Idaho Wrestling League, Team Idaho and USA Wrestling for the opportunity that wrestling has provided me.  I plan to take advantage of this opportunity.
