2x National Prep Champion
For most of my life, I have dedicated all my time to becoming a better wrestler in the all three levels of the sport: Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Scholastic. Through wrestling I feel I have attained my goals not only in the classroom, but also in life. More specifically with the tutelege of my coaches at Blair: Coach Buxton, Coach Clavel, I have learned to strive to better my self at every arduous step of life. With the help of my coaches, I have accomplished some of my goals. I am a National Prep Champ, Beast of the East Finalist, Ironman Finalist and Freestyle Junior National Finalist. I also manage Diabetes daily, with this disease comes set backs in my training, Coach Buxton has worked with my parents and me to better understand what I deal with. Though a large part of my life, I do not let it control my future and my potential as an all around person and wrestler. My decision to go to the Pennsylvania State University, a fine academic institution as well as a prodigal wrestling powerhouse, was reassuring to my parents due to it’s relatively close proximity to my home and it’s highly acclaimed Diabetes Research Facility. My wrestling goals for the future are to be an NCAA Champion and compete on the world level in both freestyle and Greco-Roman. When these goals are met, I will further reciprocate my support and love to my parents for all they have down to make me a success.
